Jordan Barker

Gearshift Films principal Jordan Barker studied film production at York University and graduated from Sheridan College’s world-renowned digital animation program. He made his feature film debut as director in the award-winning My Brother’s Keeper, which was released theatrically in Canada through Lions Gate Films. His other directing credits include Sony Pictures' The Marsh starring Academy Award winner Forrest Whitaker and Gabrielle Anwar, and the thriller Duress starring Martin Donovan, which opened to rave reviews at North America’s leading genre film festival Fantastic Fest and is slated for a Fall 2009 release.
